Typically secure VPN tunneling over the Internet is used to establish the application access necessary to facilitate continuance of operation. Alternatively, leased lines or VSAT connectivity from our Teleport facility can be reserved for contingency scenarios.

Diagram 1 provides a simplified diagram of the Teleport infrastructure maintained to support emergency restoration services on demand.

Diagram 2 is a typical deployment site. Wireless Access points provide indoor and outdoor coverage for the recovery site. Wireless phones and hosts with wireless network cards access the network directly. Wireless Access bridges are used to attach wireless hosts to the network. Generator, UPS, Transportable Antenna, Block Up Converter, IP Satellite Modem and Wireless Network Equipment are packaged and staged to support each recovery scenario.
